Ecomp® 142

Ecomp® 142 by Kafrit group is a biodegradable polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) grade. Exhibits high level of softness, flexibility and good processability. It can be processed using conventional blown film extrusion equipment with only minor process parameter changes namely reduced temperature and controlled screw speed. Ecomp® 142 is recommended for film applications such as shopping bags. It complies with the EN 13432 and ASTM 6400-99 regulations.

Ecomp® 120

Ecomp® 120 by Kafrit group is a plasticized, compostable & biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA)-based compound. It contains antioxidants and 40% renewable resources. Exhibits easy processing, good weldability, excellent mechanical properties and good printability. It can be processed using conventional blown and cast film extrusion equipment with only minor process parameter changes, namely reduced temperature and controlled screw speed. Ecomp® 120 is recommended for the production of films of 12 µm up to 100 µm for shopping bags, raschel bags & twine applications. Complies with EN 13432, ASTM D6400-04, ISO 17088 and the Japanese green PLA Standard.

Ecomp® 420

Ecomp® 420 by Kafrit Group is a plasticized, compostable and biodegradable starch-based polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) compound. It is comprised of 100% renewable resources. Exhibits good weldability, excellent mechanical properties, good printability and processability. It can be processed using conventional sheet extrusion equipment, with only minor process parameter changes, namely reduced temperature and controlled screw speed. Recommended for the production of twin-wall sheets of 4 mm (300 µm wall thickness). Ecomp® 180 complies with EN 13432, ASTM D6400-04, ISO 17088 and the Japanese green PLA Standard.
