Astro Mel™ 601ULF by Hexion is hexamethoxymethyl-type melamine resin grade. It can be used to crosslink a variety of polymers that contain hydroxyl, amino, amido, and carboxyl functional groups. It offers improved solvency, impact and abrasion resistance. Astro Mel™ 601ULF by Hexion also possesses an extreme low level of free formaldehyde.
ASTRO SET 90 by Hexion is methylated urea-formaldehyde grade. It offers rapid cure response. It can be used to crosslink a variety of polymers that contain hydroxyl, amide and carboxyl groups. ASTRO SET 90 by Hexion provides excellent storage and catalyzed coating stability.
Astro Mel™ 400 by Hexion is a waterborne, partially methylated melamine formaldehyde (MF) grade. It offers firm & resilient finishes, high abrasion resistance and good solvent resistance. This grade displays good formulated stability and adequate cure response at temperatures below 160°C. It can be used to crosslink hydroxy-functional polymers in formulations. Astro Mel™ 400 by Hexion is recommended for textile printing, nonwovens and textile finishing applications.
