SOLARPOL® S-350 by HDC HYUNDAI EP is a general-purpose, expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade available in the form of beads. It is produced from polystyrene beads that are impregnated under heat and pressure with a light hydrocarbon such as pentane. Exhibits short cycle time and good molding process. It is insoluble in water & soluble in organic solvents. Can be processed using foaming and shape molding. SOLARPOL® S-350 is recommended medium parts packaging applications. It complies with the RoHS regulation. SOLARPOL® FS-451 by HDC Hyundai EP is a self-extinguishable, flame retardant, expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade. It is produced from polystyrene beads that are impregnated under heat and pressure with a light hydrocarbon such as pentane.<br>
