Vistalon™ 8731 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a crystalline ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) terpolymer rubber with a broad molecular weight distribution and moderate branching. It has low mooney viscosity, high ethylene and low diene content. Exhibits easy processability, smooth extrusion surface, excellent heat aging properties and low peel strength from insulation shield. Vistalon™ 8731 is suggested for low & medium voltage wire and cable applications. Used in molded mechanical goods such as brake parts, precision seals, gaskets, foam sheets, electrical connectors and hose mandrels.
