ENDURANCE™ HFDB-0840 BK UDC by Dow is a cross-linkable, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) semicon compound. It provides high maximum operating temperature, excellent processability with exceptional thermomechanical performance. It is recommended for semiconductive layers of HVDC power cables up to 525kV. ENDURANCE™ HFDB-0840 BK UDC is used in high and extra-high voltage (HV) cables systems. ENDURANCE™ HFDB-4401 UDC by Dow is a cross-linkable, low-density polyethylene (LDPE). It is designed to achieve exceptional crosslinking performance while maintaining low byproduct levels. This combination enables high resistance to thermomechanical deformation. <br>

It offers aging stability and manufacturing efficiency which enables faster cable production with low inventory costs and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. It is used in high voltage (HV) cables insulation.
