RP 340S by Braskem is a translucent/ white high fluidity random polypropylene copolymer grade. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. Exhibits excellent processability & transparency, good balance of rigidity/impact and very low odor & flavor transfer. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for high transparency and thin-walled parts. RP 340S by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA.
