5D49 by Braskem is a polypropylene homopolymer grade. Does not contain additives with heavy metals or organotin-based materials. Insoluble in water. Exhibits consistent processability and superior spinning characteristics. It can be processed using fiber extrusion. Suitable for nonwoven and film applications. 5D49 by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA.
