SYNPHORM P-888 by Asta Chemicals is a brown colored, modified phenol formaldehyde novalac resin. It is available in the form of lumps. Exhibits good plasticising properties, filler dispersion and reduced
compound viscosity. Imparts increased hardness & stiffness at
elevated temperatures, increased tear-resistance and decreased elongation. SYNPHORM P-888 is designed for reinforcing applications like styrene butadiene and nitrile butadiene rubber (SBR and NBR) compounds in tyre construction.
