STYRON A-TECH® 1290

STYRON A-TECH® 1290 by AmSty is a high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade. Offers gloss, stiffness, flow, processing ability, cost and exhibits good impact and ESCR resistance. Provides better color consistency, the ability to down-gauge and improved wall thickness distribution. Is suitable for processing by extrusion- and thermoforming. Applications include food packaging, cups, lids, appliances, housewares, creamer and yogurt containers. Is a FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and UL94 HB E326906 compliant grade.

STYRON™ 498 by AmSty is a high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade. Offers toughness, gloss, excellent dimensional stability, good stiffness, flow, cost and processing ability. Provides better color consistency, the ability to down-gauge and improved wall thickness distribution. Applications include food packaging, cups, lids, appliances, housewares, medical and consumer electronics. STYRON™ 498 is an FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and UL 94 HB E326906 compliant grade.

MC3700 by AmSty is a crystal polystyrene (PS) grade. Offers improved cycle times in hard to fill parts, exceptional mold release and easy filling of thin-walled parts. Applications include color concentrate carrier, consumer containers, vials, jars, disposable cutlery and injection molded drink cups. MC3700 is FDA 21 CFR 177.1640, UL 94 HB E326906 and USP Class VI compliant grade.
