ChronoThane P™ 55D by AdvanSource Biomaterials is a non-cytotoxic, biocompatible, phthalate-free, aromatic, ether based thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU). It is a bio-durable grade, available in radiopaque, antimicrobial and solution form. Exhibits low coefficient of friction, low extractables, dimensional stability, high impact resistance and excellent tear strength. Designed for processing at conventional extrusion and injection molding. ChronoThane P™ 55D by AdvanSource Biomaterials can be used for catheters, ports and access device applications. Complies with USP Class VI and ISO 10993-5 regulations.
