ZEONEX® 790R by Zeon Chemical is a water insoluble, odorless, colorless cyclic olefin polymer (COP) grade. It possesses glass-like transparency, low protein absorption and precision moldability. This grade exhibits high clarity, low haze, low water absorption, break and chemical resistance. It provides high purity/low offgassing and excellent moisture barrier. It is processed by injection molding and blow molding. ZEONEX® 790R is used in pre-filled syringes, vials, bottles and other drug delivery devices for prefilled drug storage. Other applications include packaging of parenteral and lyophilized biopharmaceuticals, high-viscosity drugs, hyaluronic acid as well as contrast media. It complies with Japan Pharmacopoeia, US Pharmacopoeia (USP 88 Class VI, USP 87) and European Phamocopoeia. It meets with the requirements of ISO 10993 standard.
