TH801 by Xinjiang Blue Ridge Tunhe Chemical Industry is a biodegradable and compostable polybutylene succinate (PBS) grade. It is a crystalline (30-45 %) grade and soluble in organic solvent like chloroform. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties same as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), outstanding processability and good heat resistance. It can be blended with calcium carbonate and starch to produce cost effective products. It is suitable for processing by blow molding and blown film extrusion method. TH801 is used in bottles, film, flexible hose and spinning.
