Supplied byWestlake- Last Updated on Oct 23, 2024

EBAC+® SP1903 by Westlake is a soft, flexible ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) copolymer grade with 18% butyl acrylate (BA). Exhibits good corrosion resistance, excellent thermal stability, good toughness, excellent adhesion, high solids fillability, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR) and high coefficient of friction or “surface tack” for nonskid or high-grip surfaces. Offers high melting point, better clarity, improved processing, good low-temperature impact strength. EBAC+® SP1903 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC & other polar polymers and an additional compatibility in polymer alloys. Is suitable for processing by co-extrusion, compounding and blown film extrusion. Recommended for films, disposable gloves, wound care and tie-layer applications. It is patented under US patent 5804675.
