VRP 2131FR by Vikram Resins and Polymers is a medium reactive isophthalic acid based unsaturated polyester resin. This flame retardant grade exhibits better mechanical, corrosion and electrical properties as compared to orthophthalic polyesters. Is a fast curing grade possessing very good wetting and water resistance properties. It is also supplied in a pre-accelerated version. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up, RTM, pultrusion, filament winding, and other molding techniques. VRP 2131FR is suitable for the manufacture of boats, pipes, automobile parts and gratings. It conforms with flammability IS standards.
