VRP 2131 by Vikram Resins and Polymers is a medium reactive isophthalic acid based unsaturated polyester resin. Exhibits improved mechanical, corrosion and electrical properties in comparison to orthophthalic polyesters. This fast curing grade possesses high water resistance and good wetting properties. It can be supplied as a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, or low viscosity resin. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up, resin transfer molding (RTM), pultrusion, filament winding and other molding techniques. VRP 2131 can be used for the manufacture of marine products, tanks, pipes, automobile parts, gratings.
