EUROPRENE® N 2845

EUROPRENE® N 2845 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a cold polymerized acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer. A non-staining antioxidant is added during the production process. It is characterized by good processability, medium mineral oil resistance and good flexibility at low temperatures. The vulcanization can be performed by sulfur-based systems or by peroxides. The low-temperature properties can be improved by adding polar plasticizers as synthetic esters of adipic, sebacic or phthalic acids. To improve heat, light and ozone resistance, suitable protective agents as amine or phenolic antioxidants have to be added in the compounding process. It is used in automotive & industrial seals, textile industry articles, oil industry holds, stoppers, stamps and dampers. EUROPRENE® N 2845 has a shelf life of 24 months.
