TP1300

TP1300 by Turkuaz Polyester is a thixotropic, accelerated, medium reactive, low viscosity, unfilled orthophthalic-based unsaturated polyester resin for acrylic back-up applications. It has a very high filling capacity that can be filled with up to 60% calcium carbonate.

• It is formulated with a special color change mechanism to indicate the correct catalyst addition.
• Its thixotropic properties prevent draining when applied on vertical or inclined surfaces with chopped strand mat.
• It provides excellent adhesion to acrylic sheets, making it ideal for the manufacturing of shower trays, bathtubs, and hot tubs as a support layer for acrylic sheets.
• TP1300 is designed for spray-up applications, but it can also be used in hand lay-up applications.
