Sustainable® 6000 by Trellis Bioplastics is a bio-based PLA (polylactic acid) blend resin containing biodegradable polymers. It exhibits an excellent balance of strength, toughness and processability. It can replace up to 95% of petroleum content used in traditional plastics. It can be processed on sheet extrusion and thermoforming machines. Sustainable® 6000 is recommended for cups, plates, bowls, trays, clamshells, containers, packaging, sheets, displays, and similar applications. It is listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list.
