Sustainable® 5001 is a bio-based PLA (polylactic acid) blend resin containing biodegradable polymers. Exhibits an excellent balance of strength, toughness and processability. It can be processed by extrusion (foam sheets) and thermoforming. Recommended for meat trays, plates, egg cartons and clamshells. Listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list.
