Sustainable® 2001 is a bio-based PLA (polylactic acid) blend resin containing biodegradable polymers. Exhibits an excellent balance of toughness, rigidity and processability. Moreover, it can replace up to 95%+ of petroleum content used in traditional plastics. It can be processed on existing conventional electric and hydraulic reciprocating screw injection molding machines. Sustainable® 2001 is specially designed for bottles, containers, and similar type applications. Listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list.
