Compostable® 1006 by Trellis Bioplastics is a high modulus, renewable, ecologically sound, biodegradable PLA (poly-lactic acid) blend resin. It exhibits an excellent balance of high stiffness, toughness and processability. It can be processed on existing conventional electric and hydraulic reciprocating screw injection molding machines. It meets BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute www.bpiworld.com) standards for compostability (ASTM6400D99, ASTM6868) and European Bioplastics Standards (EN13432). Compostable® 1006 is listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list.
