PPC 1640 is an odorless, water insoluble, nucleated heterophasic (block) polypropylene copolymer grade. Exhibits long-term heat stabilization, high stiffness and outstanding impact strength (even at very low temperature). Suitable for the extrusion of non-pressure pipes and sheet & blow molding. Applications include sewage pipes, profiles, corrugated sheet pipes, sewage & drainage pipes, furniture, outdoor articles and general packaging. PPC 1640 complies with REACH (Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) inventory. Listed on ENCS (Existing & New Chemical Substances) inventory, AICS (Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances), KECI, PICCS, IECSC, DSL and NZIoC. Fulfills harmonized requirements on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
