PPC 12712 is an odorless, water insoluble, nucleated, antistatic, controlled-rheology heterophasic polypropylene impact copolymer grade. It is present as translucent white pellet. Exhibits good stiffness & impact resistance and low shrinkage & warpage. Stable at normal handling and storage conditions. Also, it can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for thin walled packaging containers. Applications include food packaging, housewares, appliances, outdoor articles, technical parts, compounds & masterbatches, food & beverage packaging, furniture and automotives. Listed on REACH (Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006). PPC 12712 complies with United States TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) inventory, Japanese ENCS (Existing & New Chemical Substances) inventory, AICS, KECI, PICCS, IECSC, DSL and NZIoC. Fulfills harmonized requirements on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. Incompatible with strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents and halogens.
