Titalon® 4182TFS by Titan Plastics Compounds is a polyamide 4,6 (PA 4,6) resin reinforced with 18% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and 2% silicone. Exhibits high sliding properties, excellent mechanical properties at high temperature environment, good chemical resistance, outstanding wear & abrasion resistance for moving parts, low flash point and high stiffness/strength. Cycle time of this grade is faster than PPS, PA6T, and PCT due to high crystal. It can be used as a replacement of thermoset and high cost plastics. Designed for processing by injection molding. Titalon® 4182TFS used in slider & weight roller of motorcycle CVT and plastics parts of automotive applications. Complies with UL flammability regulations.
