Sarlink® TPV 3170 by Teknor Apex is an opaque, general-purpose, resilient thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade with medium heat resistance. offers bondability good moldability, processability, surface finish, adhesion and flexibility. Provides low density, medium hardness and high elasticity. Exhibits excellent fatigue resistance, resistance to high temperatures up to 135°C, outstanding electrical properties, abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to chemicals & weathering. It has high impact strength, low specific gravity, low tension & compression set and good colorability. It reduces production costs due to its shorter cycle times, reduces energy needs and has very high material efficiency and can be recycled. Sarlink® TPV 3170 can be reprocessed through several heat cycles without loss of physical properties. Suitable for processing by blow molding, extrusion, profiles and injection molding. Desired for applications like hoses, seal, tubing, gaskets and profiles. Recommended for include automotive exterior, interior & under hood applications and appliance components. Possible applications are sealing systems, building, film, power tools, sports and leisure articles, personal care products, wire & cable jacketing.
