Monprene® IN-23160 is a flexible styrenic block copolymer TPE. It performs like widely used TPVs while providing new supply and processing alternatives. Exhibits excellent adhesion to polypropylene or high-modulus TPE substrate that serves as rigid supporting component. Also exhibits elastic performance and good throughput on both PVC & TPE die. Requires no pre-drying and shows no paint staining. Also, it has an adjusted viscosity and melt strength that increases throughput while reducing or eliminating the common problem of die drool. It can be run in PVC tooling. Suitable for coextruded structures. Monprene® IN-23160’s applications include window seals and window gaskets providing sufficient stiffness to facilitate window assembly. Exhibits end-use properties essential for air- and moisture-proof window gaskets, including rubberlike seal recovery, low-temperature toughness, and UV resistance.
