Medalist® MD-10353 by Teknor Apex is a high performance thermoplastic elastomer which provides up to 30% weight savings. It is developed for cold storage bags and pouches which exhibits low-temperature toughness, with brittle points as low as -60°C. This greater toughness introduces the possibility of down-gauging. It is free of halogen, DEHP, other phthalates, BPA and latex. Offers ultimate design flexibility, medium hardness, low density, high clarity and good melt strength. It is sterilized with autoclave, ethylene oxide and radiation. Medalist® MD-10353 by Teknor Apex is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. It is specifically designed for medical devices, hospital goods, pharmaceuticals, tubing, rubber replacement, medical and healthcare applications. Complies with ISO 10993 Part-5 for biocompatibility, ISO 13485, RoHS, REACH SVHC and Proposition 65. It is made with FDA listed ingredients.
