TAITAREX® 818 is a water insoluble, off white colored, high molecular weight, general purpose polystyrene (GPPS) grade. It is a low residual monomer (300 ppm) produced with the state-of-the-art technology from US NOVA Chemicals. Exhibits high impact, strength, good transparency, mold dimension stability, easy processing, good heat and water resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. TAITAREX® 818 by Taita Chemical is recommended for OPS/ PSP sheet applications. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating (file no. E50263), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 177.1640 and meets with the requirements of ISO 9002:1994, ISO 14001:1998 and OHSAS 18001:2001 standards.
