SPRINTAN™ SLR 4630 by Synthos Group is a partially Si-coupled, solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) manufactured by anionic polymerization using an organo-lithium initiator. It is extended with 37.5 parts of TDAE oil. It contains a non-staining stabilizer. It bears a generation 2 functionalization for improved polymer/ filler interaction with carbon black and silica. Possesses medium styrene/ high vinyl micro structure with a glass transition temperature of -28°C. Provides excellent balance between good wet traction and low rolling resistance. SPRINTAN™ SLR 4630 is used for silica & tire tread compounds for summer-, winter-, all-season- and carbon-black filled tires for the automotive industry. Complies with ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and EU Directive 2005/69/EC regulations.
