SPRINTAN™ SLR 4602 by Synthos Group is a partially coupled, solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) manufactured by anionic polymerization using an organo-lithium initiator. A non-staining stabilizer is added during the production. It bears a generation 2 functionalization for improved polymer/ filler interaction with carbon black and silica. Possesses medium styrene/ high vinyl microstructure with a glass transition temperature of -25°C. Provides excellent balance between wet grip and rolling resistance. SPRISPRINTAN™ SLR 4602 is used in summer-, winter-, all-season- and fuel-efficient tire treads for automotive industry. Complies with ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 regulations.
