SPRINTAN™ SLR 4601 by Synthos Group is a partially coupled, solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) manufactured by anionic polymerization using an organo-lithium initiator. A non-staining stabilizer is added during the production. It bears a generation 1 functionalization for improved polymer/ filler interaction with carbon black. Possesses medium styrene/ high vinyl micro structure with a glass transition temperature of -25°C. Provides an improved balance between wet grip and rolling resistance. SPRINTAN™ SLR 4601 is used in summer-, winter, all-season- and low consumption tire treads for the automotive industry. Complies with ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 regulations.
