SPRINTAN™ SLR 4502 by Synthos Group is a partially coupled, solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) manufactured by anionic polymerization using an organo-lithium initiator. A non-staining stabilizer is added during the production. It bears a generation 2 functionalization for improved polymer/ filler interaction with carbon black and silica. Possesses medium styrene/ medium-high vinyl microstructure with a glass transition temperature of -35°C. Provides abrasion, improved balance between wet grip and rolling resistance. It ensures excellent miscibility within blends with BR. SPRINTAN™ SLR 4502 is used in summer-, HP/ UHP-, all-season- and fuel-efficient tire treads for the automotive industry. Complies with ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 regulations.
