CYCOM® 997 by Syensqo is a good flow, toughened epoxy (EP) resin. Available in a broad range of fibers & forms including unidirectional tape, fabric and fiber placement tape. Possesses wet service temperature capability. It can be cured at 177°C for 2 hours. Exhibits ease of processing, excellent tack and drape features. Exhibits good impact resistance and excellent hot and wet performance. It can be processed by autoclave and press molding. Suitable for both laminate and sandwich panels. CYCOM® 997 is designed for primary and secondary aircraft structures.
