SURPREN™ SN122 by Sundow Polymers is a general purpose chloroprene rubber containing talcum as a release agent. It is obtained by sulfur modified and chloroprene monomer by emulsion polymerization. Offers good mixing properties, smooth surface and smaller shrinkage. Exhibits good physical, mechanical, electrical & plastication properties and good processability. Shows good oil-, heat-, fire-, chemical reagent-, ozone aging- and sunlight resistance. Suitable for processing by extrusion. SURPREN™ SN122 by Sundow Polymers is recommended for the production of mining conveyor belts, hoses, power transmission belts, seals, wire and cable jackets.
