SUNPREN™ M-8536

SUNPREN™ M-8536 by Sundow Polymers is a general-purpose chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM) grade. It is produced by new non-solvent technology. Its production process is without solvents such as carbon tetrachloride, so it is environmentally friendly and doesn’t destroy the ozone layer. It contains no harmful organic solvent and has no harm to the operator’s health. It exhibits permanent bright colors, good flame retardancy, high working temperature up to 150°C, electrically insulating and moderate mechanical properties. It shows superior ozone- and weather resistance, even for the formation without carbon black. It possesses excellent resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals, abrasion & mechanic abuse and moderate resistance to oil & solvent depending on chlorine level. It has a good balance in physical properties and processability. SUNPREN™ M-8536 is used in high-performance automotive & special hoses, wire & cable and rubber rollers.
