SUMIKAEXCEL PES 4100P by Sumitomo Chemical is a flame retardant polyethersulphone (PES) powder grade. with excellent adhesive properties, thermal- & dimensional stability, good impact strength, high level of light transmittance, low coefficient of linear expansion and low-temperature dependence.
  • It provides low mold shrinkage, water absorption, electrical insulation, high weld strength, toughness and outstanding rigidity.
  • It is affected by polar solvents such as acetone & chloroform and offers heat-, creep-, hydrolysis-, hot water-, stress cracking, acid- and alkali resistance.
  • It shows moldability, ultrasonic welding, low amounts of smoke, low flash properties, poor weather resistance and no anisotropy.
  • It possesses excellent resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, chlorinated hydrocarbons, aromatic chemical agents, cleaning solvents, oil, grease, bleaches and disinfectants.
  • It is suitable for processing by injection molding and is used in adhesives, paints and coatings.
  • SUMIKAEXCEL PES 4100P complies with UL94 and UL746 flame ratings and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
