StarGrip-X® 5020-1000 by Star Thermoplastic Alloys & Rubbers is a high flow TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) grade. Exhibits excellent grip characteristics under both wet and dry conditions allowing to be used in a variety of conditions, great weatherability (results in attractive, long lasting products) and no drying needed (making it is easier to process). Offers products that are safe, non-toxic, free of PVC, latex & phthalates and minimizes potential allergies as well. Possess low temperature flexibility (hold up in a variety of temperatures and because it is a thermoplastic versus a thermoset). Allows for enhanced design flexibility, increased product durability, option of noise and vibration dampening, recyclable products and a long product life. It can be processed using standard processing techniques. Suitable for number of applications such as handles & grips of hand and garden tools, lawn & garden accessories, construction & safety equipment, sports, recreation products, tool handles, bicycle grips, small kitchen appliances, utensil handles, hair brush handles and sports accessory parts.
