Solaris® by Smooth-On is an ultra-transparent, low viscosity, clear, colorless liquid platinum cure silicone rubber. It does not contains any solvents and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It can be cured in deep sections or enclosed assemblies without exotherm. Offers protection against shock, vibration, moisture, ozone, dust, chemicals and other environmental hazards. Provides excellent electrical insulation, easy flow, excellent UV resistance and hydrolytic stability. Can be used in high humidity environments and at elevated temperatures. Suitable for potting solar cells for maximum light transmission or electronic assemblies where component identification is required. Solaris® by Smooth-On is mixed 1A:1B solution by volume or weight.
