Sipchem EVA 2005 by Sipchem is a soft, crosslinkable, transparent and flexible ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade produced using an Exxon-Mobil high-pressure tubular process with 4.5% of vinyl acetate. Exhibits high elasticity, good permeability, high density and tear resistance. Shows high polarity, good environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), good gloss, low temperature toughness and low self-ignition temperature (SIT). It is insoluble in water & slightly soluble in hydrocarbon solvents. Can be processed using co-extrusion. It is recommended for agricultural film, form fill & seal packaging, freezer film, high clarity film, lamination film, poultry bags, rice bags, rubber bale wrap and foams. Sipchem EVA 2005 complies with CLP Regulation 1272/2008/EC, REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and GHS.
