SR GreenPoxy 28 by Sicomin is a high-viscosity, bio-based epoxy resin produced with 28% of carbon originating from biomass. It has a lower environmental impact than standard Bisphenol-A epoxy and exhibits excellent impregnation. It can be processed by filament winding technique, hand lay-up or pultrusion at (20-30)°C. When combined with SD 3304 hardener, it yields a low viscosity epoxy resin system of medium reactivity, with outstanding wetting-out properties on glass, carbon and aramid fibres. SR GreenPoxy 28 is designed for the production of highly resilient composite fibre structures. The bio-based Carbon content is certified by an independent laboratory using Carbon 14 measurements (ASTM D6866 or XP CEN/TS 16640).
