KEG-2000-40A/B by Shin-Etsu is a general purpose, fast curing silicone rubber grade. It is transparent and offers excellent heat resistance, high tear strength and flame retardancy. It exhibits long pot life, rapid cure at elevated temperature and low viscosity to allow easy pumping. Provides easy colorability, reduced molding time, automated- & eco-friendly molding and improved productivity. KEG-2000-40A/B consists of two components A and B, mixed in a 1:1 ratio and is suitable for processing by liquid injection molding. Used in electronics, electrical equipments, office automation, automobile, food products, household goods and leisure products. It is used in O-rings, diaphragms, capping, rubber rollers and connector packaging. Meets ISO 10993, FDA, BfR, KTW, WRAS, W270, USP Class VI and UL 94 HB flame rating. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
