SELVOL™ E 5/88LA by Sekisui Specialty Chemical is an off-white colored, low viscosity, partially hydrolyzed, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA) grade available in the form of granules. Exhibits excellent light stability and solubility in hot water. Recommended for PVAc emulsions for wood, paper, packaging & building and remoistenables for adhesives industry, paper applications such as pigment coating, carbonless paper & thermal paper and textiles like spun yarn sizing / synthetic, filament yarn sizing, printing and non wovens. Also suitable for fine powder products including cement mortars & gypsum boards, ceramics binder, coating, microencapsulation, protective strip coatings, mold release polyester/ silicone, temporary binder and powders. It is registered in AICS (Australia), CEPA DSL (Canada), TSCA (United States), MITI (Japan), AUSTRIA, CHINA, PHILIPPINES and SOUTH KOREA. SELVOL™ E 5/88LA conforms to various FDA and BfR regulations for use in food contact applications.
