LNP™ COLORCOMP™ WQ117945 compound by SABIC is an advanced nanotechnology solution for efficient production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) foams for core materials in sandwich structures. Improves control over nucleation and cell growth, resulting in decreased cell size and uniform, narrower cell size distribution. It can also potentially improve shear strength/ strain properties for better fatigue performance and helps reduce weight for sustainability. Recommended for multiple industries including marine, buildings & construction, packaging and wind energy. Suggested for building insulation, cladding, boat hulls, decks as well as core of wind turbine blades. Suitable for use as an effective nucleating agent for extrusion foaming, injection and bead foaming. LNP™ COLORCOMP™ WQ117945 can also act as a rheological modifier for improving melt strength and thermoformability.
