ACRYLITE® M30 polymer by Roehm is a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) based amorphous thermoplastic compound. It shows excellent weather resistance, high light transmission, high mechanical strength, high surface hardness and mar resistance. It exhibits good melt flow rate and versatile colorability due to crystal clarity. It possesses medium heat resistance, high melt flow rate, UV light transmitting and medium levels of lubricant. It is used for injection molding optical and technical parts. ACRYLITE® M30 polymer is recommended for medical instrument lenses, solar collector lenses, lighting lenses, fresnel lenses, light pipes, stereo system display lenses and point-of-purchase displays.
