Alkathene® XLC177 is a LDPE extrusion coating grade. Exhibits very good drawdown. The higher density and low MFI provides low moisture vapor transmission rates and excellent hot tack. Shows incompatibility to strong oxidizing agents. Recommended for milkboard coating but is also used for fabric coating and production of cupboard stock. Complies with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a and AS2070-1999 section 4.1.1(a).
