Alkathene® LD1217 is a LDPE extrusion coating grade. Exhibits low odor, taint and excellent heat seal characteristics. It is incompatible to strong oxidizing agents. Shows good drawdown and very low neck-in which allows low coating weights and maintains very good adhesion to a variety of substances. Used in liquid packaging and sensitive food packaging laminates. Complies with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a and AS2070-1999 section 4.1.1(a).
