Alkatane® HD0490 is a high density polyethylene used for injection molding applications. Shows excellent impact resistance, high density, hardness, stiffness and toughness. UV stabilizer should be added where the application involves exposure to sunlight. Used in the production of stackable transport, storage, bottle crates and industrial moldings demanding very good mechanical properties. Complies with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a and AS2070-1999 section 4.1.1(a).
