Alkadyne® HCR193B by Qenos is a black, high molecular weight, bimodal PE100 high density polyethylene. It exhibits high slow crack growth resistance to withstand harsh installation conditions. It provides excellent resistance to the effects of the ultra-violet light exposure due to well dispersed carbon black. It is designed for processing using extrusion. Alkadyne® HCR193B is a high performance resin for use in pressure pipes. It is suitable for use in the transport of wide range of fluids for industrial, rural and mining applications, including portable water. It complies with AS/NZS 4131 for PE100 type compounds and intended to be used in pipes conforming to AS/NZS 4130. Its shelf life is of 100 years.
