Lotrène® Q1018N by Qatofin Company is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin. It is produced in a gas phase reactor using butane (C4) co-monomer. It does not contain slip or antiblock agent.
- It can be used in pure form as well as blended with other polyethylene (PE) resins, such as linear density polyethylene (LDPE) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and monomer polyethylene (mPE) resins to improve film properties or processability.
- It can be processed at high output rates with moderate extrusion pressure, good bubble stability and gauge control on blown film lines designed for LLDPE. It is suitable for processing by mono-extrusion or co-extrusion.
- It is used in the applications in the field of consumer, industrial, food or hygiene packaging such as collation shrink, liners, FFS bags, heavy duty sacks, refuse, tunnel films, mulching films.
- Lotrène® Q1018N complies with US, EU & other food contact legislations and REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC. It isisted in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, AICS, ECL, PICCS, SWISS and CRC-SEPA.
