PEI 2200

Supplied byProPolymers- Last Updated on Jun 23, 2025

PEI 2200 by ProPolymers is a high performance, colorable polyetherimide grade filled with 20% glass. It is physically amorphous and transparent with a straw tint. It is inherently flame resistant with low smoke emission. Exhibits a superior combination of mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. Also exhibits durability, high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures, long term heat resistance and dimensional stability. Provides outstanding processability and chemical (hydrocarbons, alcohols and halogenated solvents) resistance. PEI 2200 by ProPolymers is sterilizable by steam, X-ray and ethylene oxide. Creep resistance over the long term allows PEI to replace metal and other materials in many structural applications. Applications include head lamp reflectors, electrical components, oil & chemical service and medical instruments.
